Bill McKibben
Bill McKibben is a scholar-in-residence in environmental studies at Middlebury College. His most recent book is Wandering Home: A Long Walk Across America’s Most Hopeful Landscapes, Vermont’s Champlain Valley and New York’s Adirondacks. McKibben sounded the alarm about global warming in the 80’s with his book, The End of Nature. Hardly anyone back then was paying attention, but today with the evidence so strong for this theory he is often called upon to speak of his concerns. An avid cross country skiier and bicyclist, he lives with his wife and daughter in the Adirondacks of New York and in Vermont. His newest book is Eaarth:Making a Life on a Tough New Planet.
