Remainders are books that publishers decide to put “on sale” for a variety of reasons. They may have too many of a title in stock, they may have over printed, they may be cleaning house.

Buying remainders is a great way to build up your hard cover library –often at less than paperback prices. Bear Pond is now getting new remainders in almost daily, many in hardcover, some in paper. They are located on the tables just outside of our front door, and in our new Remainders Den at the top of the stairs on the second floor.  We have a few chairs set up in the area so that you can browse at your leisure.  The titles change often — stop in frequently for some  great bargains.
