We decided to have a Canda Crime month, since as it happens, May is Canada's Crime Writing Month.  In celebration of that, we'll read two mysteries by Canadian authors, both featuring young protagonists: The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie: A Flavia de Luce Novel by Alan Bradley and (a new discovery by me) The Dead Kid Detective Agency by Evan Munday.

The Dead Kid Detective
has the advantage of actually being set in Canada and featuring
Canadian history. It seemed too good to pass up. Both books are on sale
right now at Bear Pond, in the usual place.
