Early Chapter Books - Educators Workshop

Our third Materials Review session in the Educators' series turns the panel's attention to early chapter books. Learn about new books and series that will engage readers launching into chapter books that will appeal to a range of ages and appetites. The Bear Pond staff is joined by Doug Wilhelm (Treasure Town, Choose Your Own Adventure) will give a short talk from the author’s perspective on creating engaging early chapter books. This two hour presentation includes light refreshments, displays of new and upcoming books, and giveaways.

This event is geared towards teachers, librarians, and other educators - anyone who wants to know what's happening in books for early readers (perhaps you're writing one yourself?) will find this useful.
