George's Mystery Book Club: Strike Three You're Dead and The Setup Man

Books for June, based on a muttered request at April's meeting: BASEBALL! Alison Gordon's Kate Henry mysteries were requested; they are not, unfortunately, available in quantity. We do, however, have copies of R.D. Rosen's Strike Three You're Dead, originally published in the 1980's & named one of the 100 Favorite Mysteries of the Twentieth Century. [Yes, there was such a list. Yes, I can find you a copy.] We will also read The Setup Man by T.T. Monday, published last year. You'll enjoy these even if you don't like baseball, I promise. Not nearly as much, mind you, but still...Both books are here at Bear Pond as I type.
