Symphony for the City of the Dead - Book Talk & Music

Anderson for a discussion of Dmitri Shostakovich, Anderson's new book Symphony for the City of the Dead, and performance of Shostakovich's 8th Quartet by an ensemble of local professional musicians. This evening combines music, literature, and history and is presented by Bear Pond Books. The event takes place Tuesday, December 8th at 7:00 pm at the Vermont College of Fine Arts (Cafe Anna - on the first floor of College Hall). Desserts will be provided by Hel's Kitchen.
