What cute baby animals will you find in the forest? Come meet a baby turtle, mountain lion cub, grizzly bear cub, and even a baby owl in this sweet pre-reader!

Young readers will learn all about North American forests and the super cute baby animals that live there. Find out what these forest babies eat, where they live with their families, and how they learn and play.

Perfect for beginning and young readers, National Geographic Pre-readers include simple, expert-vetted text and large, engaging photos on every page. A vocabulary tree at the beginning of the book introduces kids to key words in concept groups, helping kids make connections between words.
