About the Author

Elizabeth Auer (illustrator) is an artist and illustrator and currently teaches art and handwork at Oxbow Schoolhouse in Devens, Mass. She has also taught many courses in the arts to adults, including watercolor painting, clay modeling and drawing. She is the author and illustrator of Creative Pathways and Learning To See the World through Drawing, both published by Waldorf Publications. Chatham, NY Lotta Suter (author of quotations used in the book) is a journalist, translator and book author, currently working as an US correspondent for various media in Switzerland and Germany. In her long career as a writer she has penned and translated political essays and nonfiction works for adults as well as many stories and poems for children and the young at heart.
