Claire Benedict has been the co-owner of Bear Pond Books in Montpelier since 2006. She has been in the bookstore business since she and her husband moved to Vermont in 2002 to purchase Rivendell Books. She lives with her family in Montpelier and is the facilitator of Bear Pond's Not-Just-Fiction Book Group.
