Humans of Montpelier - Submissions

This October, the book Humans of New York: Stories will be published. It’s the follow-up book to the best-selling "Humans of New York" photography book. This book includes photographs and quotes from inhabitants of New York City  and builds from the popular blog and Facebook page. Bear Pond Books would like help from the Montpelier community to create Humans of Montpelier. We are looking for submissions of pictures and stories from our own little city that we will display in our store in October. The idea is to photograph people you'd pass on the street and document everyday life in the city. Here are the details:

1. We’re looking for photos taken in Montpelier, with a quote - we don’t need your subject's name, but we do need them to say something about the photograph / themselves / the place where they’re being photographed / etc.

2. Please e-mail the photograph and text to Bear Pond Books by October 16th at 5:00 pm. Use info@bearpondbooks.com and please (this is important) put HUMANS OF MONTPELIER in the subject line so we don’t miss it.

3. The photographs and text will be printed and on display in the store starting October 21st and will be featured during Moonlight Madness (October 22nd).

We have a few copies of Humans of New York Stories that we'll give out to some of our favorite submissions. One book will go to the person who sends in the first submission. Thank you for your participation in this project and for sharing the invitation with others who might be interested.
