Young Adventurer's Guide Book Launch & Party

This event will be held at THE NORTH BRANCH NATURE CENTER, 713 Elm Street, Montpelier.

Calling all adventurers! Want to know how to build a fort from nothing but sticks? Or find your way through the forest? 

Join us  for a wilderness outdoor activity fair, reading, and presentation to celebrate the launch of "The Young Adventurer's Guide to (Almost) Everything: Build a Fort, Camp Like a Champ, Poop in the Woods - 45 Action-Packed Outdoor Activities" with authors Ben and Penny Hewitt, and illustrator Luke Boushee.

Free and open to the public. Book signing, Q&A, activities, refreshments, and Nature Center fun!

About the Author:

Ben Hewitt is the author of Home Grown, Saved, The Town That Food Saved, Making Supper Safe, and has written for magazines such as Outside, Discover, National Geographic Adventure, Gourmet, Men’s Journal, The New York Times Magazine, and many others. He and his family live in a self-built, solar-powered house in Vermont.
