Description

In sparkling prose, acclaimed author William Jaspersohn retells a powerful, true story about a young boy's encounter with a band of mutineers who, much to the boy's surprise, leave him a remarkable
memento. Illustrator Vernon Thornblad's vibrant oil paintings thrillingly capture both the beauty and danger of young William's world, and Jaspersohn's deft, swift narrative recalls those classic tales of good and evil, innocence and experience, imagined deeds and true adventure.
