Description

Introducing an exciting, multi-sensory board book series written by Camilla Reid, with illustrations from acclaimed collage artist Clare Youngs!

Preschoolers will adore Clare Youngs' friendly animals, with their high-contrast collage artwork, decorative foil highlights, and signature animal noises…and there's a tiny creature hidden  behind a tuggable felt flap on each spread, too! In this book, you'll meet Munch Munch Rabbit, Glub Glub Fish, Quack Quack Duck, and Woof Woof Dog herself. With a final “recap” page of animal noises, and the question, "But what noise do YOU make?", little readers will enjoy lifting the last flap and saying “hello” to themselves in the surprise mirror!

Visually gorgeous and with a genuinely engaging hide-and-seek narrative, this is a stunning new series from the author behind the bestselling children's series Felt Flaps, Pip and Posy, Bizzy Bear and Peekaboo.

Also available: Look, It's Roar Roar Lion!

About the Author

Camilla Reid (Author)
Camilla Reid has written, conceived, and edited children's books for over twenty years. Her titles include the Pip and Posy series (illustrated by Axel Scheffler), the Bizzy Bear series (illustrated by Benji Davies), and the Felt Flaps series (illustrated by Ingela P Arrhenius). Camilla lives with her family and several pets at the top of a windy hill in Oxfordshire, England looking out over the ancient Vale of the White Horse. In summer she enjoys dog-walks on the downs, but in winter it’s so cold that the best thing to do is to stay indoors and write children’s books.

Clare Youngs (Illustrator)
Clare was a graphic designer for many years, creating packaging for retailers Marks and Spencer, Boots, and many others. For the last decade she has worked as a collage artist and published a number of paper-craft books for both adults and children, including Animal Parade (Design for Today). Clare has four (now grown-up) children and lives with her husband and their dachshund, Otis, on the sunny coast of Kent, England.

Praise for Look, it's Woof Woof Dog

It’s the use of foil in patterns (and delicate ones at that) that really blew me away… So for primo use of foil (and some thoroughly charming animals to boot) this is the series to watch.—Betsy Bird, A Fuse 8 Production

Good Housekeeping kid testers were taken in by the collage-like illustrations in this book, which goes through different animals and the noises they make. Sturdy flaps added an extra-special touch, but what kids liked the most is the mirror at the end that asks, "But what do YOU say?"—Good Housekeeping
