About the Author
CORNELIUS EADY is the author of seven books of poetry, including The Gathering of My Name, nominated for the 1992 Pulitzer Prize in Poetry. His Victims of the Latest Dance Craze won the 1985 Lamont Award (now called the Laughlin Award) from the Academy of American poets. He was born in Rochester, New York, and has taught poetry at SUNY Stony Brook, Sarah Lawrence College, New York University and American University. He is Associate Professor of English at Notre Dame.
