About the Author

Michael Tougias is the author and co-author of 23 books, including The Finest Hours (with Casey Sherman) now the subject of the major motion picture by the same title! His books include Rescue of the Bounty, A Storm Too Soon, and Overboard! Tougias also authored There’s a Porcupine in My Outhouse: Misadventures of a Mountain Man Wannabe, which won “Best Nature Book of 2003” (Independent Publishers Association) and was a finalist for ForeWord Magazine’s Nature Book of the Year.
