About the Author

Marina Carr was born in 1964, brought up in County Offaly, and graduated from University College Dublin in 1987 with a degree in English and Philosophy. She has been Writer-in-Residence at the Abbey and is a member of Aosdana. She is Writer-in-Residence at Trinity College Dublin.
